Our diverse group is made up of local pullers that moved up in the ranks as well as national pullers that, due to travel distances and costs, allows them to continue to pull professional but economically.
Our crowds range into the thousands.ĬOTPA is a professional organization positioned between the local and national puller level. This encompasses the entire state of Ohio as well as portions of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana and Michigan. Now the COTPA has approximately 90 members pulling in over 100 pulls. This also allowed our organization to more align ourselves with the promoters, pullers and especially our fans. Our purpose is to promote truck and tractor pulling in the State of Wisconsin and to operate certain pulling events as scheduled by the association. Pullers come from all over the World to compete at this truck & tractor pull. To stay with the times, our name changed in November, 2007, to the Central Ohio Tractor Pullers Association eliminating the antique segment of our club. This is one of the Nations Premier Event for Truck and Tractor Pullers. Seventeen years later we are proud to say one of the original trustees is still pulling today.Īs the pullers demand for speed and power increased, as well as the need for more modern machines, new classes were formed.
